Henghsing Gyatso Rinpoche is a cultivator of great compassion in the history of Asia who has perfected the ascetic practice of traveling 1,100 kilometers around the island of Taiwan by full prostrations with the entire body touching the ground in every step to pay homage to H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha Ⅲ and Green Tara for eliminating the dark karmas of living beings. Thus, he became the first person in the history of Taiwan who traveled around Taiwan with long prostrations to pay respect to Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. His clean and pure cultivation and practice and noble spirit are especially respected and admired by people in the world.
A royal ceremony held by the Royal House of Georgia to grant the hereditary title to Henghsing Gyatso Rinpoche, was held on December 12, 2017, in Palais Liechtenstein in Vienna, Austria. Royal VIPs have witnessed the ceremony were H.I.H Andres Salvador De Habsburgo, H.E. Jone Mari Buloua y Sanambrosio, H./e. Fernando Musoles. Crown Prince personally awarded the hereditary title to Henghsing Gyatso Rinpoche, and of which the certificate has been registered by the Legal Department of the Republic of Georgia.
His Royal Highness Crown Prince simultaneously presented Henghsing Gyatso Rinpoche his Viscount Coat of Arms, noble flag, cufflinks, his noble signet ring, and other noble accessories, as well as the Order of the Eagle of Georgia and the Order of Crown. Henghsing Gyatso Rinpoche has become the only person in Taiwan who owns a noble hereditary title.
The ceremony was succeddfully completed under a grand and solemn atmosphere.
